These garments
are made of windproof, waterproof, breathable
GORE-TEX fabric--the worlds leading weatherproof
material. This unique combination of
properties lets a single garment function as a
rain shell, a wind breaker, and a protective
shell for insulated garments. You can
handle more weather conditions with one garment.
If you're really active, you are going to sweat.
But garments of GORE-TEX fabric let perspiration
vapor escape while you stay totally protected
from water and wind. The Gore-Tex membrane
contains 9 billion randomly spaced microscopic
pores per square inch, each one 20 times smaller
than a water drop but 700 times larger than a
water vapor molecule. They let
perspiration vapor escape but block outside
wetness and wind.
